Introduction into War Game Terrain.
If you are wanting to make your own war game terrain, then whatever your level of experience, we can help you in-store to learn more about making your own terrain suitable for wargaming, as well showing you useful techniques for basing and painting your models.

We are more than a shop, we are wargamers ourselves and know that making War game terrain takes a certain degree of dexterity, know-how and patience to create a realistic scene with hills, roads, woods, obstacles, buildings and water features etc.
We are stockists of books, kits, tools, materials, paints and supplies for wargames terrain, including buildings and scenery from Hovels. Scenix, Conflix, Ziterdes. Tablescape Gaming boards and scenery from Purbeck terrain. K&M trees and Peco railway range & terrain. What we don't sell is the inspiration and enthusiasm to get you started - we give you the first taste of that for you to develop.
Latest addition to our extensive stock is the 'Landmark' range, a fully finished
series of war time buildings.
There are hours of fun and plenty of rewarding moments punctuated with feelings of pride when developing your own unique war game terrain from raw materials and customised kits. Pieces of polystyrene, wood, cardboard, putty, papier-mâché and other odds and sods turn slowly into the war game terrain you have planned. Yes it all starts with an inspired plan. "Failing to plan is planning to fail". Instead of starting on a grand design, to start with we would advise you to look at making a number of basic elements of war game terrain, which you can piece together in whatever combination suits the requirements of the day.
